When is the Best Time to Visit Egypt

If you’re planning on visiting this amazing country, there are several factors that will help you decide when is the best time for your trip. Before you start planning your vacation, it’s important to know what weather conditions are like in Egypt during each month of the year so you can be prepared for any surprises that might come up along the way.

The best time to travel to Egypt is between October and April. During these months, you’ll enjoy warm temperatures and comfortable humidity levels that make it easy to explore the country without feeling overheated or too cold. However, if you want to see the pyramids at Giza during sunset in all of their glory, then summertime might be more suitable for your trip because they are open until late in the evening.

If you are planning on visiting Egypt with children under 12 years old then we suggest avoiding July and August as these months tend to be very hot and dry so it may not be ideal for young kids who don’t have much experience dealing with heat yet.

Egyptian pyramids

The first thing that you need to know about visiting the Egyptian pyramids is that they are not easy to get to. They are located far away from any towns or cities, so it takes at least half an hour for someone who does not live there already before they reach their destination. The roads leading up to these sites can be very bumpy and rocky as well so if you are not used to driving on such roads then it may be best for you to take public transportation instead of driving yourself there by car or motorcycle!

Egyptian pyramids are those at Giza, which include the Great Pyramid of Khufu (or Cheops) and its two companions, known as the Pyramid of Khafre (or Chephren) and the Pyramid of Menkaure (or Mycerinus). These three pyramids were built during a period of 100 years between 2600-2500 BCE. They are located on a plateau near Cairo, next to Saqqara necropolis where there are more than sixty tombs from rulers that lived before them. The pyramids are a great place to visit and you’ll be able to see some of the most famous structures in the world. It’s also possible to ascend these pyramids, which is something that many people do as part of their trip.

The Sphinx

The Sphinx is a man-made structure in Egypt. It was built during the reign of Khafre, who was one of the pharaohs of the Fourth Dynasty. The Sphinx is a limestone statue with a lion’s body and human head. It was originally carved out of the limestone rock that surrounded it and stood 66 feet tall.

The Sphinx sits on the Giza plateau, which is located on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt. The site also contains three other large pyramids that were built for Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure respectively.

Visitors should be aware that there are no bathrooms at this location so they should come prepared with plenty of water as well as sunscreen if visiting during summer months!

The Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings is a great place to visit, whether you’re a tourist or a local. It’s an incredible historical site and is full of rich history that can be enjoyed by all.

The Valley of the Kings is located on the west bank of the Nile River in Luxor, Egypt. It was used as a burial ground for over 500 years from 1550 BC to 1070 BC. The tombs were built by rulers from The New Kingdom period and later on by rulers from The Third Intermediate Period and also Late Period.

There are 64 tombs located in this area, some of which are open to tourists while others are closed due to their poor condition or because they contain private tombs that have not been excavated yet. There are many famous pharaohs buried here including Tutankhamun, Ramses II, Seti I and Ramses III

Luxor Temple

The Luxor Temple, located in Luxor, Egypt, is one of the most famous temples in all of Egypt. The temple was built during the New Kingdom under the rule of Ramses II. It is located on the east bank of the Nile River, and it can be accessed by boat or by car.

The temple is a beautiful example of ancient Egyptian architecture and design. It has been restored many times over the years, and today it looks nearly as good as it did when it was first constructed. The temple contains many large statues that once stood inside but have been moved outside due to damage from weathering over time. There are also many smaller statues that are still inside–these were not moved because they were too fragile to move safely.

The main entrance to the temple opens up into a courtyard with two large statues on either side of the doorway (one male and one female). On top of each statue’s head is an altar where offerings could be left for them daily so that they would continue protecting those who came here for worship services throughout each day until sunset when visitors would return home again before nightfall began approaching again tomorrow morning (if coming back again tomorrow morning) .

There are many other statues throughout the temple as well, but these were the most prominent ones that visitors could see on their first day of visiting.

As you can see, there are many great reasons to visit Egypt at any time of the year. If you plan your trip well and take a few precautions, you will be sure to have a wonderful time.
