The Statue of Liberty is located on Liberty Island, which sits at the mouth of New York Harbor. The statue is made up of copper sheets laid over wire frame scaffolding that was built on land before being transported across the country on barges.

It’s also one of our favorite hotels in New York City because it has such cool art installations throughout its lobby area that make you feel like you’re really there… even if you’re sitting at home watching Netflix on your laptop!
